It’s no secret that now more than ever consumers are craving immune health supplements. According to Nutrition Business Journal, the immune supplement market is expected to grow by more than 25% in 2020 alone. But brands can rest assured because, no matter the health "foe du jour", supplement consumers consistently and reliably prioritize immunity—in fact, the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s 2019 Consumer Survey on Dietary Supplements found that 20% of supplement users take supplements in pursuit of a healthy immune system.

That said, it’s about more than just boosting the immune system. Manufacturers and consumers alike would be wise to consider supplement ingredients that help modulate the immune system as well, helping the body maintain the delicate and critical balance between a healthy reaction to stimuli and a dangerous overreaction in the form of chronic inflammation.
