Anlit Advanced Nutrition ~ Yomi Magnesium

GENEVA, SwitzerlandChildren's dietary supplement manufacturer Anlit Advanced Nutrition will release its new advance magnesium supplement, Yomi Magnesium, at Vitafoods Europe from May 14 to 16.

Yomi Magnesium is a gluten-free and sugar-free supplement for children that is easily chewable. The magnesium supplement is produced  with a proprietary microencapsulation technology to overcome taste and texture challenges. It is available in bear or cube-shaped chocolate-like units at 20 supplements per blister-pack.

According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), magnesium deficiency is a critical concern amongst children, especially those who suffer from ADHD. Magnesium supplementation has been found to ease hyperactive behavior and increase focus and attention, enabling children to concentrate better and think more clearly.

. Kids are more sensitive than adults to the appearance and texture of food and supplements," said Shai Karlinski, vice president of sales and marketing for Anlit. "While adults can rationalize the necessity of taking supplements that might be unappealing in appearance, taste or texture, children are not bound by such considerationsthey like flavorsome products that are smooth, soft and easy to chew."

In 2011, Anlit Advanced Nutrition supplements won the Tastiest Finished Product" on exhibit at the Tasting Bar  at the Finished Products Expo (FPE) 2011, held in conjunction with VitaFoods.
