Mirenat-N is thermal and pHstable and can be used in a broad variety of processed foods such as meatproducts, ready-to-eat foods and juice beverages. A much lower dosage ofMirenat-N is needed in comparison to other anti-microbials, therefore havinglittle effect on the taste and texture of the original product, according to thecompany. Mirenat-N does not impact the sodium or acidity of the food in which itis used and resists most food processes, including UHT and pasteurization. It ishighly effective in controlling a wide range of microorganisms and numerousother pathogens, bacteria, molds and yeast.
