TEMPE, Ariz.ArizonaInstrument released its new Computrac MAX 5000 analyzer to make ash analysiseasier and faster. In addition to shortened throughput time, inaccurate testresults due to sample mishandling are significantly reduced by thisself-contained analyzer, according to the company. The MAX 5000 analyzer testssamples at temperatures as high as 600 degrees Celsius in a compact footprint,reducing high temperature test results while eliminating the need for bulky,time-consuming furnaces, according to the company. A linked test option allowsoperators to measure moisture, solids and ash in samples ranging in weight from200 mg to 100 g in one procedure. In addition, the analyzers softwareincludes an optional security feature that complies with FDA data storagerequirements, powerful statistical and graphical analysis capabilities, andhigh-capacity test result storage.
