Biotron Forms European Distribution Partnership

CENTERVILLE, Utah—Biotron Laboratories Inc. signed a distributorship agreement with Copenhagen, Denmark-based Chr. Olesen Nutrition A/S. Under terms of the agreement, Chr. Olesen Nutrition will represent Biotron’s line of mineral amino acid chelates throughout the European Union. While Biotron has done business in the European Union for almost 20 years, Gameil Fouad, Ph.D., president of Biotron, noted, “clarification within the EEC [European Economic Community] of certain legal aspects regarding the use of chelated minerals in supplements have made it imperative we reevaluate opportunities in the European market.”

In additional news, the Registrar Company completed an independent audit of Biotron’s (www.biotronlabs.com) quality management system and has recommended the company continue to be certified as an ISO 9001:2000 compliant company.
