Carrington Labs CBI Division Offers Increased Capacity

IRVING, TexasCarringtonLaboratories acquired a custom manufacturing division, CBI, in 2002, and hasupgraded its capacity to handle a range of specialty manufacturing jobs. Carringtonhas been a leader in medical-care products that utilize Aloe vera as a keyingredient, said Ginger Adams, sales and project manager for Carrington (www.carringtonlabs.com). With our acquisition, we are offering our expertisein research, manufacturing and packaging to clients who are looking for the bestin skin care and specialty cosmetic products.

CBI can use existing formulas or develop custom formulas forproducts including body scrubs, bath salts, shower gels and skin care products.The company also produces SPF sunscreens, which are regulated as drugs by theFood and Drug Administration (FDA). Capacity ranges from highly automated largeruns to runs as small as 5,000 pieces.
