FDA Warning Letters

ROCKVILLE, Md.Recent warningletters from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were sent to two companiesusing dubious claims. In a Nov. 6 letter, American Nutraceuticals Co. of Atlantawas warned about using drug-like claims such as clinically proven to reducecholesterol levels for its product Cholester LOW 2, among others.NutraLife Laboratories of Anaheim, Calif., was sent a Dec. 16 letter aboutproducts such as NiControl, which also bore drug-like claims.
