Landa Named CFSAN Deputy Director for Regulatory Affairs
ROCKVILLE, Md.Michael Landawas named deputy director for regulatory affairs at the Center for Food Safetyand Applied Nutrition (CFSAN), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.
Mike Landa has worked tirelessly to protect consumers andpromote the public health during his tenure as an FDA attorney, said LesterCrawford, acting commissioner of FDA (www.fda.gov). He will draw on hisextensive experience to provide executive leadership for [CFSANs] importantwork involving major health claim petitions, the obesity initiative and planningand executing CFSANs enforcement strategies.
