QAI and CID Announce Partnership

SAN DIEGOQuality AssuranceInternational (QAI) and Fairfield, Iowa-based CERT ID (CID) are partnering tooffer joint organic and nongenetically modified organism (GMO) certification tofood companies. The strategic collaboration will allow food companies toexpand their presence in various markets.

We are excited to be able to offer our clients non-GMOcertification to meet all of their certification needs, said Kristen Holt,president of QAI (www.qai-inc.com). The CERT ID (www.certid.com) program is world-class and will provide our clientsaccess to important international markets with GMO labeling laws being enforcedby regulators. This includes two countries with an additional 27 countriesplanning for GMO labeling laws. By offering this service in combination withorganic certification, clients will enjoy the convenience of one inspectionmeeting the requirements of both programs.
