Risdon-AMS Offers DuPont Technology

NAUGATUCK, Conn.--Risdon-AMS, a division of Crown Cork & Seal CompanyInc., introduced frangrance packaging using DuPont Surlyn resins from DuPontPackaging and Industrial Polymers. According to the company, this new designcreates versatility and design freedom, including a new package shape. Thistechnology uses glass-like clarity, creating colorations such as translucentblues. Risdon-AMS also uses an in-mold finish to produce simulated frosted glassand other textures.

In addition, Dupont Surlyn protects the packaging from softening ordiscoloring due to oils or other ingredients in the formulation. Risdon-AMS hasa global fragrance clientele, including DKNY and Candie's for Men.
