Capsugel Assists YourVitamins with ProCaps Launch

GREENWOOD, S.C.--Capsugel announced the successfullaunch of Henderson, Nev.-based YourVitamins Inc.'s first ProCaps product, madeusing Capsugel's Licaps capsule delivery system. The ProCapsEssential Omega 3 Fish and Flax oil product debuted on the Home Shopping Networkand sold more than 40,000 bottles of product in less than three hours. Theproduct delivers a blend of cold-water fish and flax oil using Capsugel's Licapsdelivery technology, which was originally developed for the pharmaceuticalmarket for encapsulation of liquid and semi-solid materials in a hard-shellcapsule.
