BENICIA, CalifInterHealth Nutraceuticals and Nutravail have co-developed a soft chew containing InterHealths UC-II® undenatured type II collagen.

Human trials indicate daily consumption of UC-II can help improve joint health and reduce pain when taken regularly.

As we saw the success of UC-II, many of our customers have asked us about other dosage forms that lend themselves to the once-a-day format," said Jay Martin, vice president of sales and marketing, InterHealth. He said the transition to joint health chews made sense with the success of the company's calcium soft chews.

Greg Thoren, vice president of sales and business development, Nutravail, said the new product can help provide much-needed consumer support.

"Because UC-II is only 40 mg a day and virtually tasteless, it presented a perfect fit for Nutravails patented, uncooked soft chew technology, and we are thrilled with the result of our substantial co-development effort," Thoren said.
