BEER SHEVA, IsraelLycoRed unveiled a new, slow-release formulation for bone health: Lyc-O-Fem. The product is a mixture of genistein, tomato lycopene and vitamin D3, all of which are clinically proven nutrients that help support bone health. It is also the first product in the company to combine nutrients with slow-release technology.

Genistein in Lyc-O-Fem is a phytoestrogen extracted from the Japanese pagoda tree, Sophora japonica. It is standardized to 98 percent purity and formulated for slow release. According to LycoRed, research shows the compound to support bone heath and reduce vasomotor symptoms. The slow-release technology of LycoRed provides a continuous exposure with once-a-day supplementation.

"In addition to the cumulative activity in bone maintenance, is the ability of lycopene derivatives to reduce the risk of certain adverse effects associated with estrogenic activity."
