BBQ, Bacon Sundae Top Burger Kings Summer Menu

MIAMIBurger King unveiled its new summer menu featuring new limited-time-only (LTO) barbecue menu items that include new twists on the classics, as well as innovative new offerings, including a bacon sundae for customers craving a savory and sweet dessert. The newest offerings come on the heels of the companys broadest menu expansion in history that includes fruit smoothies, new salads and snack wraps to appeal to a wider customer base.

The ad campaign in support of the barbecue-inspired menu provides Burger King with the opportunity to debut its new taglineTaste is Kingwhich celebrates the heritage of the brand and future innovations coming out of the test kitchen.

New LTO items include the Memphis Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich with sweet n spicy barbecue sauce; Carolina BBQ WHOPPER® Sandwich and Carolina BBQ Chicken Sandwich with sweet tang of Carolina style honey-mustard barbecue; Texas BBQ WHOPPER® Sandwich, Texas BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Texas BBQ Chicken Sandwich with smoky, sweet Texas-style barbecue sauce.

The Bacon Sundae features vanilla BK®soft serve ice cream, drizzled with chocolate fudge, caramel and topped with bacon crumbles, complete with a thick-cut, hardwood smoked bacon garnish.

Rounding out the summer menu are Frozen Classic Lemonade, Frozen Strawberry Lemonade and Sweet Potato Fries.
