WINDSOR, OntarioAccucaps Industries converted its newest facility—a 125,000-sq.-ft. operation in Strathroy, Ontario—to focus exclusively on the production of health, nutritional and cosmetic products. The facility is GMP (good manufacturing practice) compliant, registered with the U.S. FDA, and licensed by Canada’s Natural Health Products Directorate. It offers product compounding, 16 encapsulation machines with an annual capacity of 4 billion doses, a temperature-controlled warehouse, and capabilities for blistering, bottling and distribution, and effectively doubles Accucaps’ manufacturing and production capacity.

“This facility will become the ‘centre of excellence’ for the manufacturing and production of health and nutrition products in North America,” said Peter Wares, director of sales and marketing. “Our strength in manufacturing and packaging a range of products that meet or exceed industry quality has allowed us to partner with our customers to supply products to markets in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.”
