DECATUR, Ill.--Archer Daniels Midland Co.(ADM) in early April introduced a new corporate logo, tagline and advertising campaign. According toADM, the change emphasizes its continued commitment to global agriculture and increased emphasis on developing products based on natural, renewable resources.
"We believe that nature holds the answer for many of the pressing problems of today's world," said G. Allen Andreas, ADM chairman. "Our new logo and tagline--'The Nature of What's to Come'--reflect our corporate mission." The leaf-shaped logo symbolizes the natural origin of the company's products.
ADM is the world's largest processor of soybeans, corn, wheat and cocoa, and is a leader in many other food areas. It also is active in the food additive and nutraceutical market.
