Bell Flavors Acquires Iceberg Flavor Division

NORTHBROOK, Ill.Bell Flavors & Fragrances has acquired Iceberg Industries flavor division in Sao Paulo Brazil. Iceberg-Aromas has resided  in the Brazilian market since 1939 with customers in all segments, including sweets, confectionery, chewing gum, ice cream, beverages, cookies and savory products.

This acquisition provides Bell with the platform and resources to expand our business in Brazil and South America. We are very excited about this new acquisition and the envisioned growth within this important market for Bell," said Bell Flavor & Fragrances President & CEO James Heinz.

Bell Flavors and Fragrances, Brazil will now have two manufacturing facilities in Brazil with its Brazilian headquarters located in Cotia, Brazil. The new facility, which will manufacture flavors, fragrances and botanical extracts to the South American market, will house state-of-the-art innovation labs that will serve as a hub of new product creation and customer collaboration for the South American market.
