Bone-Up® Sells 1 Billionth Capsule

LOS ANGELESJarrow Formulas® Inc., a global wellness and nutritional product company, announced it has sold its 1 billionth capsule of Bone-Up®, a calcium formula for maximum bone density and strength. Bone-Up was launched more than 23 years ago and has sold more than 4 million bottles. It has Australian bovine bone hydroxyapatite, as well as vitamin C, vitamin D3, vitamin K1, mk-7, folic acid, methyl B-12, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper, boron and potassium citrate. In 2007, a study conducted at The Ohio State University and published in the Journal of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine concluded exercise plus an increased intake of micronutrients from Bone-Up in young, adult women could improve bone health, which could lower the risk of osteoporosis later in life.
