Costco, Pharmavite Supplements Carry USP, DSVP Mark

ROCKVILLE, Md.--Products carrying the U.S.Pharmacopeia's (USP) new Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP) markstarted appearing on Costco Wholesale Corp.'s store shelves in December.Costco's Kirkland brand dietary supplements are verified for ingredient contentsand label claims, as well as manufacturing practice standards.

Also, 32 vitamin and mineral products from Pharmavite LLC, makerof Nature Made dietary supplements, are now DSVP certified. These additionalproduct certifications follow the certification of Nature Made Vitamin E, thefirst dietary supplement to participate in USP's DSVP.
