WHITTIER, Calif.—DNP International announced its first-quarter (1Q08) sales rose 28.41 percent from the previous year, which the company attributed to an expanded customer base and larger orders from existing customers. The company noted that increased raw materials and energy costs have forced price increases across the board in the industry; however, DNP’s president, David Ji, added, “While no company looking to make a profit can keep price levels exactly the same forever, there are other incentives and benefits we can offer all our customers. For example, our older customers recognize that we have not increased our repacking and other service fees for over three years.”
