BREVARD, N.C.—Gaia Herbs is now a member of the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), following a thorough evaluation of its business practices and a unanimous vote of the UNPA members. UNPA is an international organization with a core mission of ensuring the full and proper implementation and enforcement of the U.S. Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act (DSHEA).

Loren Israelsen, UNPA’s executive director, noted, “It is an honor to be allied with ‘herbal pioneer’ Gaia Herbs, who has demonstrated remarkable leadership as a vertically integrated company through its quality and accountability from seed to shelf. As consumers continue to look for purity and efficacy in their supplements, our organization’s strategic partnerships and resulting strength become critical in shaping the values of today’s world.”
