NORTHFIELD, Ill. In celebration of the iconic Wienermobiles 75th anniversary, Oscar Mayer is jumping on the food truck trend by unveiling its first-ever, special edition Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Food Truck that will hit the road this summer serving up Oscar Mayer Selects Beef Franks to hungry Americans across the nation.

The Weinermobile food truck was christened May 25 in New Yorks Times Square by Tyler Florence, Food Network Chef and host of The Great Food Truck Race" Tyler Florence. The 30-foot Wienermobile Food Truck joins the current iconic fleet of six 27-foot Wienermobile vehicles and one 15-foot Mini Wienermobile and will travel to 12 cities, including Detroit, Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio, this summer dishing out hot dogs and other meat products.

Food trucks are trending right now in America. In fact, last year the editors of foodspring.coma website for food enthusiasts produced by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade Inc.
