Increased Food Costs Drive Wholesale Prices Up

WASHINGTONThe Associated Press is reporting that a 2.4 percent rise in food prices helped drive wholesale prices up .07 percent last month. AP cited U.S. Labor Department statistics that reported that vegetable prices rose by 49 percent, the most since 1995.
