Lonza Launches New Look

BASEL, SwitzerlandLonza re-branded its corporate identity in an attempt to better reflect its communication to the seven major markets it serves: bioresearch, pharma and biotech, nutrition, microbial control, agriculture, materials science and personal care. Lonza said its business units will no longer communicate singly with its customer base, but instead present a coordinated and unified approach.

The company released a new corporate brochure, which combines all that Lonza has to offer into one consolidated piece. The piece provides an overview of Lonzas offerings to the seven major markets it serves as well as a glimpse of its new visual approach.

Other external materials, including its website, are being recreated and redesigned to enhance communications between Lonza and its customers.

Lonza supplies the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life science industries. Products and services span its customers needs from research to final product manufacture. It globally produces and supports active pharmaceutical ingredients both chemically as well as biotechnologically. Lonza has strong capabilities in large and small molecules, peptides, amino acids and niche bioproduct,s which play an important role in the development of novel medicines and healthcare products. In addition, Lonza conducts cell-based research, endotoxin detection and cell therapy manufacturing. Furthermore, the company provides value chemical and biotech ingredients to the nutrition, hygiene, preservation, agro and personal care markets.

 Lonza is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland and is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. In 2010, the company had sales of CHF 2.680 billion (US$2.897 billion).
