NAFFS Convention Explores Global Flavors

NEPTUNE, N.J.In-depth presentations on innovation and flavor trends from around the globe will be featured at the 93rd Annual Convention of the National Association of Flavors and Food-Ingredient Systems, to be held November 4-7 at The Resort at Longboat Key Club, Longboat Key, Fla.

The two-day seminar program features presentations by several outstanding industry leaders. Fridays program kicks off with Dr. Liz Sloan of Sloan Trends who will explore interesting new product flavor trends, directions and practices gaining momentum around the world. Next Alissa Galatz of Product Dynamics/RQA will delve into the sensory adventure of incorporating these new global flavor trends into innovative new products.  Fridays program will conclude with Connie Banning of FONA demonstrating how formulators can harness the power of superfruits and new global flavors into todays formulations.

Saturdays program features Dr. Mark McLellan of the University of Florida/IFAS who will talk about driving innovation and development with public-private partnerships. Next Patrick McNamara of Scarinci & Hollenbeck will detail the latest regulatory and legislative issues impacting the industry. Saturdays program concludes with Valerie Jacklin of Pepsi who will explore Innovation that Sticks = Flavor Trends and Consumer Insight turned to Foresight + Leveraging the World for Solutions.

In addition to the information-packed presentations, the NAFFS Convention also offers abundant networking opportunities throughout the conference.
