GREEN BAY, Wis.Schwabe North America Inc. announced it will add more than 100 jobs, plans an over $10 million dollar expansion and will consolidate several of its operations into its Green Bay facility at a press conference with Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. In addition to extensively remodeling and upgrading the existing Labs, product development, quality control and manufacturing divisions, a new 100,000 square foot distribution center is being completed.

The state of Wisconsin provided an incentive package that includes a $500,000 forgivable loan and $400,000 in tax credits to support the expansion and creation of new jobs. The Schwabe North America project will retain the company's 280 plus Wisconsin jobs and result in the creation of more than 100 new operational, professional and administrative jobs.

"I have worked hard as Governor to make Wisconsin a friendly place to do business, and am thrilled that Enzymatic Therapy has decided to consolidate its operations here in Wisconsin," Governor Doyle said. "Today's announcement shows that when we support good, Wisconsin businesses and their workers, we can keep our state home to some of the greatest and most promising businesses in the world."

Rose, Schwabe North America president and CEO.
