LONDONTate & Lyle (TateandLyle.com)celebrated the official inauguration of its Shanghai office.  Having operated in the Asia Pacific region for a number of years, Tate & Lyle took the decision to move closer to its customers, officially opening for business in Shanghai in June last year. Its market offer in the region centers on sweeteners such as SPLENDA® Sucralose, STA-LITE® Polydextrose, PROMITOR™ fibers, value-added starches, and ingredient solution systems. “We are celebrating the creation of a strong business team who will be supported by state-of-the-art R&D facilities. As well as giving our customers better access to our portfolio of value-added ingredients, we will focus on developing solutions that are specific to the needs of the AsiaPacific markets,” said Gregory Morency, vice president food ingredients, Asia Pacific.Tate & Lyle’s customer-base in Asia Pacific includes multinational food and beverage giants as well as the leading regional food and beverage firms in China and across the region.
