Tetra Pak, Vinamilk Open New Vietnam Dairy Plant

LAUSANNE, SwitzerlandTetra Pak® inaugurated a new liquid dairy plant advanced in automation and integration in Vietnam with Vinamilk, known as the Vietnam Milk Factory.

The new $100 million facility is located on 2,000 acres in Binh Duong Province. The facility has an annual capacity of 400 million liters of milk in the first phase, which features advanced technologies including: 9 Tetra Pak A3/Speed iLines, 8 Tetra Pak A1/iLines, iLine XT solutions with 14 laser-guided vehicles with Intermediate Warehouse Management Software, and the Tetra PlantMaster system, which enables Vinamilk to have control of the plant at every stage of production.
