TricorBraun Receives Three Packaging Awards

ST. LOUISTricorBraun, an American supplier of packaging components such as jars and bottles, earned three awards at the 2013 WorldStar International Packaging Competition.

The annual WorldStar is sponsored by the World Packaging Organisation, a nonprofit international federation, as an effort to further influence the development of packaging technology and science. The competition had 316 packages from 33 countries participate this year, and TricorBraun's packages were featured among a number of U.S. businesses.

The company received awards for Roxor, its latest artisan gin whose bottle was created with cosmetic-grade flint glass; Lickety Stik, low-calorie treats for dogs packaged in a deodorant bottle;  and 3M AutroCare products, packaging that was designed to be environmental friendly with 25 percent post-consumer recycled materials.

TricorBraun focuses on the fundamentals of design and providing packaging materials for personal care, health care, food and beverages, and other industrial and household chemicals.
