Vedic Lifesciences Working in Malaysia

MUMBAI, India—Vedic Lifesciences announced it concluded a round of meetings with officials from Malaysia Biotechnology Corp., a division of the Malaysia Ministry of Science, Technology and Industry, and members of the industry who visited Vedic’s Mumbai site last month. Vedic Lifesciences, a contract research organization, is working in cooperation with the Malaysian government to help the industry develop its products through quality research. Jayesh Chaudhary, managing director and CEO, Vedic Lifesciences, said he expects the company to enter the Malaysian market for clinical phase II and phase III studies directly or through a joint venture with local partners.
