Westvaco's Dosepak MeetsASTM Standards

NEW YORK--Dosepak, a blister package developed by Westvaco Corp. in conjunction with its Mebane Packaging subsidiary, has been included in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard D3475, Standard Classification of Child Resistant Packages. It was included in the new category Reclosable Packaging: Semi-Rigid (Blister), and was the only package listed in the category.

Dosepak incorporates three main design elements: an outer carton,a fold-over inner blister card and a locking feature. The producthas also been recognized as senior friendly. For more details, visit www.westvaco.com.
