Wixon Names Alan Hubble Director of Purchasing

ST. FRANCIS, Wis.Alan Hubble has been appointed director of purchasing at Wixon, Inc., a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors, ingredients and consumer products for the food and beverage industry.

Hubble brings more than 25 years experience in global sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement in the food and consumer product industries. He will be responsible for purchasing strategies for all of Wixons three divisions, including packaging, ingredients and third-party manufacturing.

Prior to joining Wixon, he served as procurement director for La Brea Bakery, a subsidiary of Swiss-based ARYZTA AG, and Bay Valley Foods, formerly a part of Dean Foods. He began his career with Dean Foods as a corporate buyer, and rose to director of purchasing, aiding in aggressive company growth of more than $9 billion.

Hubble is a member of IFT and ASTA. He currently serves on the board of governors for The Childrens Dyslexia Center of Metropolitan Chicago and the board of directors for The Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago.
