WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.—ConsumerLab.com released the results of its latest round of product testing, which focused on vitamin E dietary supplements and skin care products. According to the organization, 10 of 13 brands tested passed all criteria; two products contained synthetic vitamin E rather than natural vitamin E as listed on the label. Another product failed to disintegrate within the allotted time required under USP standards.

ConsumerLab includes the names of companies involved in the review in its general news release, but doesn’t indicate which ones passed or failed testing. However, the reports with complete findings are available for purchase from ConsumerLab. The report on vitamin E supplements provides findings for the 13 products tested, including the three that did not pass the tests; it also lists 11 additional products that passed testing under ConsumerLab.com’s Voluntary Certification Program, whereby companies can pay to have their products tested by ConsumerLab, and three products similar to those that passed testing.
