Corbion Purac Launches Clean-Label Ingredient

LEXENA, Kan.Corbion Purac launched Verdad Powder F80, a clean-label ingredient solution to preserve the freshness, integrity and flavor of a wide variety of foods. Based on the natural fermentation processes of sugar cane, Verdad Powder F80 can be labeled as fermented sugar" to meet consumer demand for natural and authentic-tasting products.
Verdad Powder F80 is a fermentation-based ingredient solution developed in response to industry demand for a powder version of Verdad F range, another company product. The product is created using fermentation and spray-dying technology, which requires minimal processing, resulting in a natural food integrity solution. Verdad Powder F80 can be applied to a wide range of products, including sauces, salads and breads.
To keep up with consumer demands for cleaner labels and ecologically sound foods, the industry is veering away from artificial dyes, sweeteners and other products that lead to cluttered labels.
