Covance Gains ISO 17025 Accreditation

PRINCETON, N.J.Covance, Inc., announced its contaminant testing laboratory in Greenfield, Ind., has been awarded 17025 accreditation by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Covalence has a leading role in the design of testing programs requires for nutrition facts labeling regulations and scientific standards.

Granted by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, ISO accreditation confirms compliance with AOAC International guidelines for laboratories performing contaminant analyses of food and pharmaceuticals. The award follows ISO 17025 accreditation of its laboratories in Monona, Wis. (2012), Battle Creek, Mich. (2011), Madison, Wis. (2009) and Singapore (2008).
