Fruit d'Or Cranberry Health Claims Approved by Health Canada

Fruit d'Or Nutraceuticals, a grower and processor of organic cranberry and blueberry, announced that its cranberry ingredients Cran Naturelle (organic cranberry) and Cran d'Or (non-organic, non-GMO) have been approved by Health Canada for urinary tract health.

Fruit d'Or Nutraceuticals, a grower and processor of organic cranberry and blueberry, announced that its cranberry ingredients Cran Naturelle (organic cranberry) and Cran d'Or (non-organic, non-GMO) have been approved by Health Canada for urinary tract health. Health Canada also awarded Fruit d'Or with three Natural Product Numbers (NPN) to market and claim the ingredients for urinary tract health maintenance and support.

"Obtaining approval from HealthCanada and receiving three NPNs for our ingredients ensures that our customers, and consumers, can rely upon Cran Naturelle and Cran d'Or to be safe and effective for use when concerns about urinary tract health arise," said Stephen Lukawski, vice president of business development, sales and marketing for Fruit d'Or Nutraceuticals. "In today's market, NPNs provide outstanding credibility and trust."

The NPNs given to Fruit d'Or are:

NPN  80045364: 500 mg capsules, 1-2 times daily 

NPN 80045362: 250 mg caplets, 2-4 times daily  

500 mg capsules containing cranberry juice powder and Cran Naturellle combination , 1-2 times daily
