WAYNE, N.J.--Scientists at Triarco Industries, based here, have developed aplant-derived, patented enzyme system called Aminogen that assists in the body'sabsorption of amino acids. Aminogen was designed to enable the body to increaseits own production of all types of free form amino acids by more than 40percent. The ingredient seeks out protein molecules and secures itself to theamino acids to make the aminos easier for the body to metabolize.

In recent studies, Aminogen was compared to pepsin and pancreatin forgastrointestinal digestion of protein. Aminogen liberated 61 percent more valine,44 percent more leucine and 99.5 percent more isoleucine than the otheringredients. Aminogen supplementation appears most effective in a ratio of 50 mgof Aminogen to every gram of protein ingested. There are no known side effects, and the product can even decrease intestinal gas.
