The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) announced that its educational and networking events, "The Workshop: CRNs Day of Science" and "The Conference: CRNs Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry," will be held Wednesday, November 5 through Saturday, November 8 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, CA.
The events will start off with "The Workshop," a full-day symposium on November 5, ending with a reception that night that marks the beginning of the second event, "The Conference." Based on attendee feedback, "The Conference" schedule will include two full days of educational sessions (Thursday and Friday), concluding with a breakfast session on Saturday.
We listened to attendee feedback, and recognized that in this hectic business environment people are looking to pack in as much as they can in shorter periods of time," said John Blair, CRN chairman and senior vice president at The Juice Plus+ Company. This change in agenda offers a host of educational and networking opportunities and still allows people to get home on Saturday. It also reinforces that this is the most substantive of all industry conferences, drawing together executives from leading companies who want to strengthen the dietary supplement and functional food industries. Last years conference marked record attendance for the past decade and were anticipating breaking that record this year."
More information and registration for "The Workshop" and "The Conference" will be available in March at http://www.crnusa.org/2014events.
