Kalsec Expanding Hop Offerings in China

KALAMAZOO, Mich.Kalsec announced plans to expand its hop extract offerings in China. According to the company, China is the world's largest beer-producing nation.

 After a comprehensive evaluation of the China brewing industry, we determined that it was the right time for Kalsec® to establish a direct presence in China to support the growing demands of our customers and to take advantage of new market opportunities," said Dr. Scott Nykaza, chief operating officer at Kalsec.

Kalsec hop extracts provide bittering, light stability, foam enhancement and improved economics. HopRival® natural hop extracts are used to provide flavor and aroma that rival traditional hopping. The company's hop-derived products are also suited for use non-alcoholic malt beverages and other non-brewing applications.
