RENO, Nev.MNI Nutraceuticals announced plans to expand its core products beyond the joint health and weight management dietary supplement categories. The company currently markets its Arthrizyme and Vital Slim products since 2004.

Harvey Panesar, president of MNI Nutraceuticals, commented: MNI has spent a great degree of time looking at various delivery platforms and technologies for the natural supplementation market that will definitely change the way the natural food market is viewed. We have spent numerous amounts of hours determining where the market is, and where it is going, from RTD (ready-to-drink), Mood/Mind Health food and drinks, gluten-free products, food and beverage additives, as well as antioxidants and probiotics. Each of these categories has a year over year growth with expectations of annual sales of over $1 billion. Not only have we been looking at other categories under the natural food marketplace, we have been seeking various delivery platforms as well. From functional gum, to trans-dermal patches, to additive drops, we have been looking at expanding the MNI brand to continue being a category leader.
