Olive Lifesciences Receives Development Grant

BANGALORE, IndiaThe Coconut Development Board (CDB), Ministry of Agriculture and Government of India approved Olive Lifesciences' project for establishing coconut milk as a functional dietary ingredient.

The grant will provide funding for the company to establish pre-clinical and clinical proof of efficacy to coconut milk for nutraceutical and functional food applications.

"We are pleased to expand our partnership with CDB in developing coconut-based functional food ingredients, and this collaboration will enable us to advance our promising technology platform," said C.A. Anzar, managing director of Olive Lifesciences.

The company's research and development center focuses on developing standardized botanical extracts for the dietary supplement, food and beverage industry. Its center is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. 

Olive Lifesciences also recently launched a website for its branded product MaQxan, which offers different grades of marigold.
