Plant-based revolution – digital magazine

Interest in plant-based products has been increasing for years, with 15% of consumers globally trying to follow a plant-based diet, and 20% attempting to limit their meat intake. The perception of plant-based is that it's healthier and more sustainable; however, when extensive science and technology fuels plant-based goods, the natural positioning may be questioned. From April 2018 to April 2019, the plant-based retail market experienced 11% growth. Proteins, meat and dairy products, and supplements are key areas of focus.
