Wixon Names Senior Food Technologist, Technology Applications & Industrial Ingredients

ST. FRANCIS, WIWixon, Inc., manufacturer of a comprehensive line of ingredients for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, has named Jill Sonntag to senior food technologist, Technology Applications & Industrial Ingredients.

In her new role, Sonntag will work with Mag-nifique and Wix-Fresh technology applications. She also will continue to work in the Consumer Product Development division, particularly in the baked goods category.

Sonntag has more than 20 years of professional experience19 years at Wixon. Previous to Wixon, Sonntag worked for Henris (salad dressings) in sensory evaluation.

Sonntag received bachelors degrees in foods and nutrition and communications from Mount Mary College. She currently resides in Greendale, WI with her husband, Tim, and their two sons.

A native of Wauwatosa, WI, Sonntag is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Food Technologists.
