DECATUR, Ill.—Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) announced Health Canada’s Natural Health Products Directorate accepted ADM’s Natural Health Products Master File for its BeneFlax™ Flax Lignan Concentrate and issued a specific reference number for the ingredient. The Master File provides safety information and other data Canadian manufacturers can use to achieve approval for finished goods containing BeneFlax. Interested manufacturers can obtain the Directorate reference number directly from ADM.

BeneFlax is produced through a proprietary extraction and purification method developed using technology from the Flax Consortium, a partnership of the Canadian government and university researchers. The technology is under exclusive license to ADM.
