Awakening to a new sleep/stress care market – deep dive

Stress often contributes to sleep issues, which in turn, creates more stress. This vicious circle existed before Covid, but one survey noted more than a quarter of American adults have had additional trouble getting a good night’s sleep since the pandemic began. Likewise, anxiety rates rose from 26% pre-pandemic to 53%. Melatonin, magnesium and CBD are among the top-selling supplements supporting sleep and stress, but other ingredients show promise. Probiotics, amino acids and a host of botanicals top the list.
