BioActives, Maypro ~ Sustained-Release MicroActive® Curcumin-SR

WORCESTER, Mass.BioActives LLC, Maypro Industries launched Sustained-Release MicroActive® Curcumin-SR as a multi-stage time-release curcumin. Developed by BioActives as a more bioavailable curcumin formulation, MicroActive Curcumin solubilizes curcuminoids thereby greatly reducing particle size. A portion of the micronized particles are then encapsulated creating a formulated ingredient that releases in the stomach acid and then in the higher pH small intestines. 

Known for its chemo-preventative, anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties, curcumin is being recognized for its significant health and healing benefits. In addition, the sustained release form can be combined with standard curcumin for more precise cost-benefit formulations.

MicroActive Curcumin will be distributed by Maypro Industries and marketed worldwide.  This distribution partnership builds on the previous collaboration between Bioactives and Maypro to bring to market patented, highly bioavailable, sustained release and universally absorbed ingredients.
