Caravan Ingredients Recognized by March of Dimes

LENEXA, Kan.Caravan Ingredients received a 2010 Bronze Award Call to Action" from the March of Dimes for raising more than $5,000 during the March for Babies fundraiser. The award was presented to Caravan Ingredients New Jersey fundraising team.

In total, Caravan Ingredients employees companywide raised more than $11,000 in 2010 to benefit the March of Dimes mission. This marks the third year Caravan Ingredients has participated in this employee-led effort to support the March of Dimes. The organizations share a synergy in the area of folic acidthe March of Dimes helps promote the health benefits of folic acid in fighting neural tube defects, while Caravan Ingredients is one of the leading suppliers of folic acid to the grain industry for fortification.
