DSM Launches Fortitech Premixes

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.DSM launched Fortitech® Premixes, the companys Human Nutrition and Health (HNH) custom nutrient premix service, to deliver innovative formulation solutions with technical expertise and customer service.

Each premix is a single source of multiple nutrients and can integrate functional ingredients from a comprehensive selection of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nucleotides and nutraceuticals, which can be used in a wide range of products, including baby formulas, cereals, bars, dairy products, nutrition and sports drinks, juices, snacks, waters, candies and supplements.  Additionally, DSM's proprietary range of ingredients are tailored to address specific health concerns with research to support their claims.

Earlier this year, DSM launched a new natural preservation solution for beverages, Delvo®Cid+, at the Institute of Food Technologist Annual Meeting & Food Expo 2013. DelvoCid+ helps keep drinks fresh and clean-tasting for longer by applying the benefits of natamycin, a natural antifungal, to beverages.
