Energy Drinks Allowed Limited Advertising

BANGKOK, Thailand--According to a story in the Aug. 1 editionof the Bangkok Post (www.bangkokpost.com),makers of energy drinks, including Red Bull, are working with the AdvertisingAssociation of Thailand to protest the nation's advisory that such drinks aredetrimental to health. In its most recent action, the Thailand governmentannounced energy drink commercials will be banned from airing between 5 a.m. to10 p.m., starting Oct. 1.
