Frutarom, Aquanova AG Market NovaSOL® Curcumin

HAIFA, IsraelFrutarom Switzerland Ltd. joins forces with Aquanova AG, the German pharmaceutical good manufacturing practice (GMP) manufacturer of ingredient formulas, to market NovaSOL® Curcumin, a solubilized, highly bioavailable form of curcumin for the dietary supplement and food manufacturing industries developed as part of a major European research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Frutarom Health will work in collaboration with Molecular Health Technologies, its current sales and marketing agent in the United States and Canadian markets.

The proprietary NovaSOL curcumin technology offers a liquid, crystal-clear, yellow solution for use across a wide variety of applications. As a result, the curcumin becomes fully water-soluble, a quality that affects superior bioavailability. A human clinical trial, to be published later this year, demonstrated impressive absorption rate and bioavailability in comparison with both standard curcumin extracts and other improved turmeric formulas.
